He earned his undergraduate degree, and his medical degree with honors at the University of California, Irvine. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He received additional training during his fellowship at the country’s world-renowned spine center at University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.
