With COVID-19 community infection now at low levels, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced on March 3, 2023, that they are changing their guidance on masking in healthcare settings. On March 9, 2023, The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) accounted they will continue to require indoor masking in healthcare settings (hospitals, SNFs, clinics, etc.) in patient care areas for healthcare workers, though masking will become only recommended for patients and visitors. In compliance with LACDPH and The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department), healthcare workers must wear a mask that always covers their entire nose and mouth when providing patient care or working in patient care areas at all healthcare facilities in Los Angeles County.

Our ASC is a controlled environment, staffed by qualified providers and healthcare workers who understand and have experience in preventing and managing infection. Providing exceptional infection control precautions is simply a daily way of life for us.

Step 1: Our Patients
- We take precautions to pre-screen patients prior to their arrival at the ASC. We are rescheduling any patient who does not meet our strict health guidelines.
- We will contact you prior to your procedure with specific instructions to follow upon your arrival at the Center.
Step 2: Our Staff & Our Center
- We follow nationally recommended best practices to keep our Center clean and safe.
- We clean every procedure room both before and after every patient encounter.
- Our cleaning procedures adhere to the most stringent Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and are regularly reviewed by both CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and our accreditation organizations (AAAHC or Joint Commission).
